An animator produces multiple images called frames, which when sequenced together create an illusion of movement that is known as animation. Digital or hand-drawn graphics, models, or puppets can be used to create the images. Animators tend to work in 2D, 3D model-making, stop-frame or computer-generated animation.

Renowned Person – Steve Jobs
Steve Jobs has topped the list of the Top 100 Most Influential People in Animation, despite being an unlikely candidate. When Steve applied his immense power to Pixar, he transformed it from a failing George Lucas spin-off into an animation behemoth. This was prior to his return to Apple and the invention of the iPod. Perhaps some of the credit for this ranking should go to Apple’s Board of Directors, who fired the creative boy wonder allowing him to pursue his passion for all things animated. Thanks to Steve’s influence, Pixar as we know it has irreversibly changed the face of the current film and animation industry world widely.
